Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the BBLabs News service, operated by BBLabs (owned by Gorka Morillo). By subscribing or using the site you accept these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. Service scope

BBLabs News is a free email newsletter publishing one technical cybersecurity story per day, covering CVEs, bug bounty, cyberattacks, and AI. The content is informational and is not professional security advice for any specific organisation.

2. Subscription

You subscribe voluntarily by providing your email. Subscription is free. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email footer, or by replying directly. We process your data according to our Privacy Policy.

3. Your email and your data

The important bit in one line: your email is only used to send you the newsletter. In detail:

• We don't sell or share your email with third parties. Not to data brokers, not to partners, not to ad networks. Your email is used ONLY to send the newsletter you signed up for.
• No ad profiling. No Meta pixels, no Google Ads, no cross-site adtech. We don't care which other sites you visit.
• Minimal tracking. We only record when an email is delivered and (optionally) when it's opened, to detect deliverability issues. Never for resale or for building advertising profiles.
• One-click unsubscribe. Every email includes an unsubscribe link; clicking it removes your topics and marks the account as cancelled immediately.
• GDPR rights. You can request access, rectification, portability, or deletion by emailing team@bblabs.es. We reply personally.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to:

• Not subscribe email addresses you don't own without consent.
• Not automate attacks against the service (abusive scraping, OTP brute-force, etc.).
• Not bulk-redistribute the content as your own; sharing individual pieces with attribution is welcome.

5. Intellectual property

Published content (articles, generated images, layouts) is BBLabs property unless stated otherwise. Personal, non-commercial use with attribution (link to the original URL) is allowed. For commercial reuse, contact us. Third-party trademarks (Cisco, HackerOne, etc.) belong to their respective owners and are mentioned for informational purposes only.

6. Limitation of liability

BBLabs News is provided "as is", without warranties. We do our best to verify information but don't guarantee it's always accurate, complete, or current. We are not responsible for decisions you take based on the content. For critical security decisions in your organisation, consult qualified professionals.

7. Availability

We make reasonable efforts to send the daily email and keep the site available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, technical failures, or force majeure may temporarily interrupt the service without compensation.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms (e.g. abuse of the service). You can unsubscribe at any time with one click.

9. Changes to these terms

If we materially update these terms, we'll notify you by email at least 14 days in advance. The current version is always at https://news.bblabs.es/en/terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be settled before the competent courts of the owner's domicile in Spain.
